Commissioning a bespoke piece is a highly personal experience, resulting in the creation of an heirloom to be passed down to future generations. From the first hand-drawn sketch to the precious, finished piece, via the design studio and in-house workshop, each bespoke journey is a story of its own and created entirely at 7 Carlos Place.

Discovery

"At the beginning of a bespoke commission I like to spend time getting to know my client personally by sitting with them in our library and discussing their likes, dislikes and getting to know their style."

The Design Story

From a single ring to a major suite of jewels, Jessica McCormack personally designs each piece, which is then hand-crafted in-house under her direction using traditional techniques. Clients can also personally choose their diamonds, from a subtle ¼ carat and upwards, specifically sourced by the house diamantaire.

Emerald High Jewellery Necklace

"Following the initial meeting, I spend some time in my design studio, located above the Carlos Place shop, translating my clients personal story into lots of hand drawn sketches, while I work out the final perfect design."

Jessica McCormack and our expert team guide clients throughout the entire process of creating a dream jewel, from first consultation to finished piece.
