What is the Ball n Chain?
The Ball n Chain is our signature necklace: polished 18K gold orbs joined by blackened platinum links. It is made in Classic 4.7mm and Micro 3mm sizes, in lengths from 16" to 36".
What is the difference between Classic and Micro?
Classic uses 4.7mm orbs and reads as a statement chain on its own. Micro uses 3mm orbs, sits lighter, and layers more easily under or over other pieces. Both take the same detachable pendants.
How is the Ball n Chain made?
Each orb is turned and polished individually, then joined by hand with a blackened link between every sphere. A 36" chain contains several hundred components.
Will the blackened links wear over time?
The blackened finish softens with wear, which many clients prefer. Our London workshop can restore it during a service. See our Product Care guide for day-to-day guidance.
Can a Ball n Chain be shortened or lengthened?
Yes. Because the chain is built from repeated units, our workshop can add or remove sections. Contact our client team with the product reference to discuss.
