The Jessica McCormack signature combines traditional Georgian techniques with contemporary design influences, resulting in exquisite, unique pieces. Handcrafted in-house at our 7 Carlos Place Townhouse and workshop, each piece is designed to stand out at the same time as effortlessly fitting into her client’s jewellery wardrobes. The idea of creating something that can be passed onto future generations is at the core of what Jessica does.

Our workshop is based at our Townhouse in Mayfair, and our team of master craftspeople is constantly expanding. For us, finding the right craftsmen to realise Jessica’s designs has been essential to building our brand and our team are bursting with enthusiasm. There are only a handful of people who can do this to the standard that we adhere to, and they are the beating heart of our business.

One of Jessica's signature styles is the Georgian cut down setting, which is quite different to the modern cut down setting most jewellers use today. Jessica wanted to revive the Georgian technique, which is a style of setting where the diamond is encased in a button shape and the metal is set around the edge of the diamond to keep it secure.

Another technique the Georgians were known for was layering metals, backing silver with yellow gold to prevent the silver from tarnishing and marking the wearer’s clothing. Jessica recreates this in a lot of her designs for purely aesthetic reasons, as it adds a warmth and softness and a certain weight to the jewel. Also, this technique can only be done by hand making each piece unique. 'I personally love the idea of softening diamonds; they can be very harsh, and I feel making them soft makes them more wearable and relaxed.'
